This intricate piece is based on an illustration found on page 59 of the Book of Glendalough, a page dedicated to poetry. The first recorded poem by an Irish monk was the 6th Centuries Pangur Bán!
"I and Pangur Bán my cat, tis a like task we are at, hunting mice is his delight, hunting words I'm up all night". We believe this letter B stands for both Beó agus Buíochas, Life and Gratitude.
It is available as a pendant, 40mm x 18mm, drop earrings and a larger pendant are also available.
